Services for Managing Agents
We carry out a considerable proportion of our work for managing agents, and feel that this is work to which we are particularly well suited. Currently we are employed by these managing agents to carry out the following types of work:
- Inspection of properties due for cyclical maintenance, preparation of specifications for the appropriate works, tendering to agreed contractors, and administration of a subsequent building contract on site. We have carried out these services at blocks of flats of varying sizes and ages, and at commercial office premises. Works typically include maintenance to all parts of the external building fabric, including roofing, masonry, joinery and decorations, or internal refurbishment of common parts.
- Condition audits of blocks of flats with recommendations for necessary repair and maintenance works.
- One-off inspections at properties for any number of reasons, such as general dampness problems, water penetration, or to give comment on any building related matters raised by occupiers. These inspections are often required at short notice.
